After seeing the quality of our work, people often assume photorealistic visualisations are going to cost the earth – this isn’t the case thanks to recent technological advances in this field. As every project is different, it’s best to get in touch with us and we’ll give you a price estimate for your project over the phone, or with a formal, no obligation quote within 48hrs.
Yes. Most of our visualisations are VR ready by default. This means that most of our virtual tours and 3D viewers, when viewed on most late model smartphones, can be viewed in VR with VR headsets that accept smartphones. We can also do bespoke VR integration with other popular VR devices – just tell us what you’re thinking when it comes to VR and we’ll advise you on the best path.
We also sell VR headsets that can be customised with your own markings (ie, your company name, company logo, colours, patterns, and other imagery). Minimum quantity orders apply.
Initially, the best thing you can provide us is clarity on what you intend to achieve with a visualization, and from there we’ll advise on the best materials and information you need to provide, such as dimensioned plans (ie, for a virtual tour created from architectural plans), and ideally 3D CAD plans, your markups on plans to indicate placement of items, colours, and interactive options.
Obviously, this depends on the size and scope of the project, however projects can be turned around in anywhere from a few days to several months, and this is largely dependent on how much back and forth there is between you and us during the course of the project. This can be largely reduced by you being very clear and specific about what you want from the onset and we’ll guide you through that. If you really need things done in a hurry and are willing to pay a bit extra for an extra speedy turnaround, we can discuss that.
You can make as many changes as you want, however, be careful, as many changes will incur additional cost for you. We operate in a similar way to other professional services, like Architects (for example). Initially, we’ll run through options based on your requirements and get you to “lock in” a specific design brief, and if down the track you pick up that we haven’t met any of those specifics on the design brief, we’ll rectify that at no additional cost, but, if however you simply change your mind or decide on something that wasn’t formally decided on initially, there’s a good change we’ll have to charge you for that (but not necessarily).
As a rule of thumb, we’re less likely to charge you extra for changes at the very earliest stages of the project, and we’re more likely to charge you extra for changes as the project gets closer to completion.
A key benefit of visualisations provided by VIrtual Digital is that our visualisations, at a minimum, can be viewed from all the popular browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and many others. This means our visualisations can be viewed on the vast majority of internet connected devices that have a browser, ie, desktop computers, tablets, laptops, and mobile phones.
We have also developed (and are continuing to develop) desktop and mobile apps that require download and installation. These apps are more potential power than our browser based viewers in terms of graphics potential, interactive options potential, virtual reality hardware compatibility, and general customisation potential.
Yes. Our browser based visualisation viewers are as easy to embed on your website as a Youtube video and can be presented and run from thumbnail size (while the rest of the surrounding content on that web page is still visible) up to full-screen size.
Yes. Our team has experience with creating various Augmented Reality applications. Tell us what you’re thinking when it comes to an Augmented reality application so we can discuss options and prices – formal quotes may take up to 7 days and may require several consultations with you during the quoting process.
Most importantly, they work. In a world in which fewer than 1 in 250 business plans ever raise venture capital, we are happy to report that about half of our plans have raised capital, and a good portion of the rest resulted in an acquisition or currently have commitments for investment from prior round investors. Each plan is handcrafted to reflect the client’s specific circumstances, yet share attributes that investors find appealing.
Balance sheets that balance. Cash flows, income statements, and balance sheets that tie together (you’d be surprised by how many consultants who don’t get the basics right). Fully assumption-driven, so that you can do what-if analyses. Depending on your needs, we can include a lot of very sophisticated features – learn more about our financial projections here.
Every situation is unique. However, some fairly common steps include the following:
Depending on how we structure the project, you should expect to spend anywhere from 10-30 hours on the process over the course of a typical engagement.
For a typical engagement, consisting of a business plan, financial forecast, and investor presentation, the typical time to completion is 6-8 weeks, as illustrated below. The actual time can be influenced by the quality of your existing materials, the level of your participation, the complexity of your market and business model, and our current workload.
Yes, but we may need to charge a “rush” fee. We typically work on multiple projects at any point in time, and rush projects can strain our schedules or inconvenience other clients.
Only if you’re always right. One of our jobs is to help you avoid mistakes. We’ll challenge your ideas and assumptions so that you’ll be ready for the tough questions when you meet with investors.
